Glazed Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts, fresh
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 250 ml broth
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Clean and halve fresh Brussels sprouts (no need to score the stem). Peel and finely chop the onions. Heat butter and fry the onions until translucent. Add the halved Brussels sprouts and fry until some of the florets begin to brown. Deglaze with the stock. Simmer gently until the stock has reduced. Sprinkle with sugar and glaze.
