Festival Jam – pepper jam

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 8 bell peppers, colored
  • 3 chili peppers
  • 1 bag of gelling sugar
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and chop the peppers and chilies (dry chilies are also acceptable). Add chilies to your liking. A 3:1 ratio is recommended. Next, add the apple cider vinegar and cook according to the instructions with a 2:1 preserving sugar mixture. Pour into sterilized jars. The jam not only looks great, but also tastes great on rolls, crackers, or simply as a side dish with meat. It also makes a popular gift for guests.
