  • 50 g apricot(s), dried, chopped

dairy-free, egg-free, vegan, animal protein-free

Place the washed rice, tea, and cinnamon stick in a cast-aluminum pot (heavy pot), bring to a boil, and simmer gently for one hour. Weigh the grapes, chop the apricots, and chop the almonds. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Remove the cinnamon stick. Stir the remaining ingredients into the rice and pour the mixture into an ovenproof dish. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the rice dish is tender. Serve with fresh fruit or compote. Depending on the type of rice, the rice dish will be more grainy (long grain) or creamy (rice pudding). Any leftovers can be poured over hot tea for breakfast next time. This transforms a sweet lunch into a warm breakfast. *Tea type to taste.
