Low-carb beef meatballs

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp curd
  • 2 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 shallot(s) or onion
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • Allspice, ground
  • Coriander powder
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Mustard
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

without bread rolls or breadcrumbs

Finely dice the shallot and mince the garlic. Combine all ingredients and knead thoroughly with your hands. Add spices as desired (but use allspice sparingly, as it has a very dominant flavor). Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes. Then form meatballs and fry them in hot olive oil. They go well with a fresh salad and, for example, tzatziki or feta cheese as a dip. Tip: If desired, you can spice up the meatballs a bit, for example, by adding chili, pul biber, or something similar. They also taste great with a piece of feta cheese in the middle as a filling.
