Low-carb cheese crackers

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g flour (almond flour), defatted, or other low-carb flour
  • 30 g powder (protein), neutral
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 100 g cream cheese, e.g. with peppers and chili
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika powder
  • 1 egg yolk, for brushing
  • n. B. Cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Combine flour, egg white powder, butter, cream cheese, sesame seeds, and spices and knead into a dough. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and dust with flour. Cover the dough with baking paper and roll it out until it is very thin. Remove the top layer of baking paper. Carefully cut the dough, ideally with a pizza cutter. Brush with egg yolk and grate the cheese over it. Bake in the oven (Gas Mark 1) for about 30 minutes until nicely browned.
