The fastest vegetable stir-fry

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 heads of romaine lettuce (lettuce hearts)
  • 6 bell peppers, mini
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 2 stalks of flat-leaf parsley
  • some water
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. soy sauce
  • some caraway powder
  • some clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 7 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes

Cut the bell pepper, lettuce hearts, and shallot into strips. Roughly chop the parsley leaves. Sauté the bell pepper and shallots for 1-2 minutes in a little clarified butter or in a pan in the meatballs. Now add the lettuce strips and continue to sauté briefly until everything has wilted. Add a small splash of water, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and caraway seeds, and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Season to taste and serve hot, for example, with meatballs or simply with slices of toast.
