Pudding noodles with plums

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g farfalle or other beautifully shaped pasta
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 500 ml milk
  • some extra milk
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (cream or vanilla flavor or your choice)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 jar plum(s) or damsons with juice (or other compote)
  • some cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Sweet main course, quick, filling, easy, cheap, and for kids!

Cook the pasta as usual until al dente (not too soft) – add just a pinch of salt, and absolutely no oil. Meanwhile, prepare the pudding according to the package instructions, but be sure to add a little more milk to keep it a bit runny. Heat the compote and thicken the juice with a little cornstarch. Drain the pasta and mix it with the pudding. Serve the compote as a sauce.
