Pasta Special

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (early pasta, preferably whole wheat)
  • 200 ml water, hot, possibly more
  • 310 ml tomato juice
  • lots of oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Place the uncooked pasta in a small, hot pot, pour in the water, and add enough tomato juice to cover the pasta. Bring everything to a boil, stirring frequently to prevent the pasta from burning. Season generously with oregano, and cook the pasta until tender. Add a little tomato juice, a little at a time, and water if necessary. This pasta is delicious as an original side dish to meat or with all kinds of sauces, as a snack between meals, in casseroles, etc. Don’t worry if the pasta doesn’t stay completely whole. It will be nice and mushy and delicious afterward, and by no means dry. I personally love it.
