Prepare the nuggets: Finely chop the jalapeños and place them in a bowl. Grate the cheese, add it to the bowl along with the chili sauce, and mix everything together. The sauce can be omitted if you like your nuggets regular hot. If you want extra heat, you can add more sauce. Once everything is well mixed, either form them into small cheese balls or, as I do, press the cheese into an ice cube tray. Using the silicone base or the all-silicone mold, you can then press the cubes out and coat them in breadcrumbs without them falling apart. For the breading station, prepare three bowls: Put the flour in the first bowl. Crack the raw eggs into the next bowl and mix with salt, pepper, and paprika. The main flavor will ultimately come from the chili peppers and cheese. Put the breadcrumbs in the third bowl. If you want a thin coating, first place the cheese ball in the flour bowl and, when it is thinly coated with flour, place it in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. If you want a thick coating, dip the cheese ball in the flour and coat it thickly in flour, then dip it in the egg. Sometimes the egg coating breaks and the breadcrumbs don’t stick as well, so make sure it is coated all over with egg. Then dip the cheese ball in the breadcrumbs and then back in the egg to dip it in the breadcrumbs again. Place the breaded nuggets on a plate. Take a small frying pan and add enough oil to cover half the nuggets. Preheat the oil. When it’s hot, place the nuggets in the oil on a low heat setting of 2 out of 10. When they are golden brown, turn the nuggets over if desired. After 3-4 minutes, they should be cooked. Too much heat or too long will cause them to expand and the cheese will run out. It’s best to eat them as fresh as possible. Like all fried foods, they only taste good fresh from the pan. Fat-saving tip: Coat the nuggets in oil and place them in an air fryer and cook them that way. They still taste good and you’ll save at least a few grams of fat. Fry in the fryer at 200°C for about 14 minutes, turning once after 10 minutes.
