Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 6 tbsp cream
  • 2 tbsp Italian herbs
  • n. B. Oil (sunflower oil)
  • 16 slice(s) Parma ham, thinly sliced
  • 16 basil leaves (large leaves)
  • some salt
  • some pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Crack the eggs and whisk them together with salt, pepper, cream, and the Italian herbs. Heat the sunflower oil in a medium-sized pan and fry half of the egg mixture until it forms a pancake. Remove from the pan and use the other half of the egg mixture to make a pancake. Allow to cool. Divide the two pancakes into 8 cake slices each. Top each cake slice with a slice of Parma ham and a basil leaf, then roll up from the tip to the wide side. Secure with a wooden skewer and serve.
