Marinade for chicken wings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 tbsp ketchup
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1 ½ tbsp honey, liquid
  • salt and pepper
  • 20 chicken wings

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 40 minutes

sufficient for approx. 20 chicken wings (1500g)

Mix the ketchup with soy sauce, mustard, chili powder, and oil. Set aside about 5 tablespoons of this and mix it with the honey and a little more oil, if needed (you’ll need it later for the actual grilling). Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper, brush them with the marinade, and let them marinate for at least four hours. During grilling, brush the wings with the honey marinade about 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time to ensure they brown nicely.
