Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 250 ml cream
- 250 ml milk
- 120 g sugar
- 1 vanilla pod(s)
- 2 eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- Sugar, for caramelizing
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Bring the cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla seeds and pod to a boil. Beat the eggs in a bowl until creamy and slowly add the hot cream/milk mixture, stirring constantly. Pour into molds and let set in a water bath in the oven at 130-150°C for about 40 minutes. Then let cool in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Sprinkle with sugar before serving and caramelize with a blowtorch.
