Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 small onion(s), white
- 1 small onion(s), red
- 120 ml apple cider vinegar
- 120 ml spirit vinegar
- 120 g sugar
- 1 tbsp sea salt, coarse
- 2 tsp celery seeds
- 1 tsp chili flakes
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes
as a side dish for meat, barbecues, hot dogs, etc.
Combine all ingredients, except the onions, to make a marinade. Peel and halve the onions, remove all stems and roots, and slice the onions into wafer-thin slices. Place in a bowl and pour over the marinade. Mix everything well and let it marinate at room temperature for about 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
