Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g chicken strips or finely chopped chicken breast
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • Flour
  • 1 egg(s), size M or L
  • 2 spring onions
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Garlic granules
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 shashlik skewers
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and granulated garlic. Clean the spring onions and slice them into approximately 2 cm thick slices. Halve the slices again lengthwise. Thread the chicken and spring onions onto the skewers, alternating them with the meat. Use more meat than onions. Coat all skewers in flour, coat them in egg, and then in breadcrumbs. You can add the sesame seeds at this point if you prefer the taste and want them toasted. Heat oil in a pan and fry the skewers over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. If the sesame seeds weren’t added beforehand, sprinkle them over the hot skewers. Serve with a salad of your choice or vegetable rice.
