Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g beans, green
  • 400 g tomatoes, firm
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 3 sprigs of thyme
  • 150 ml vegetable stock

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Trim and wash the beans, break them in half, blanch the tomatoes, peel them, remove the seeds, and cut them into thin wedges. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic, then sauté them with the thyme leaves in a wide pan with 1 tablespoon of oil and butter. Briefly sauté the beans, add the broth, and simmer covered for about 15 minutes. Add the tomatoes for the last 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Goes well with pork schnitzel or steaks.
