Turkey steaks gratinated, à la Petra

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 turkey steaks
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 200 g cream cheese, light or light brunch cheese
  • 125 g diced ham (smoked ham)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Season the steaks with salt and pepper and sear briefly on both sides in a non-stick pan. Stir in the cream cheese until smooth, finely slice the spring onion, dice the bell pepper, and stir into the cheese along with the diced ham. Season to taste. Place the steaks in an ovenproof dish, spread the cream on top, and bake at 200°C for 40-50 minutes. The meat is cooked when the liquid has completely evaporated. I serve it with fries and salad.
