Stuffed peppers with feta and mozzarella

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 large bell peppers, red
  • 200g mozzarella
  • 250 g feta cheese
  • 200 g sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 30 g tomato paste
  • 1 small garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 225-250 degrees Celsius (425-480 degrees Fahrenheit). Cut the mozzarella and feta cheese into small cubes. Mix with the crushed garlic clove, sour cream, and tomato paste, and season with salt and pepper. It’s best to wear disposable gloves while doing this, otherwise everything will stick to your fingers. Wash the peppers, halve them, and fill them with the mixture. Place the cooked peppers on a baking rack lined with parchment paper, place them in the preheated oven, and bake for 20 minutes at a temperature now reduced to 175 degrees Celsius (fan oven).
