vanilla pudding

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 70 g powdered sugar
  • 30 g cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

homemade, without bag

First, scrape out the seeds from the vanilla pod, add them to the milk, and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, beat the egg yolks and powdered sugar with a mixer for at least 3 minutes until thick. When the eggs are almost white, stir in the cornstarch. Add the mixture to the milk, stirring constantly, and bring to a boil again. Then pour the pudding into small bowls. Tip: I first put frozen raspberries in the bowls and then pour the vanilla pudding on top. It’s truly divine. If it were up to my kids, they’d have this pudding every day.
