Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg leaf spinach, fresh
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 250 g cream
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some margarine
  • e.g. pine nuts or almond flakes

Instructions

Sort the spinach leaves, wash them, and chop them coarsely if necessary. Bring a very small amount of water to a boil in a large pot, add the wet spinach, and let it wilt. Drain the water and season the spinach with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix the cream with the sour cream, season with salt and pepper, and stir in the cheese. Lightly grease a large casserole dish or baking sheet and place the spinach on top. Spread the cream mixture evenly. If you like, sprinkle with a few pine nuts or sliced ​​almonds. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
