Peppers with feta cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large red bell peppers
  • 250 g sheep’s cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • 2 small eggs
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 2 sprigs of marjoram, chopped
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C. Wash the peppers, cut off the tops, and remove the seeds and white membranes. Mash the feta cheese with a fork. Press in the garlic and knead it with the crème fraîche, eggs, salt, cayenne pepper, and chopped marjoram. Fill the peppers with the mixture, cover, and place the lids on top. Place the stuffed peppers in a greased, ovenproof dish and bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
