Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g dough (Hermann)
- 500 g wheat flour, 550
- 80 g butter, soft
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 tsp, heaped salt
- 15 g yeast, fresh
- 100 ml milk, lukewarm
Instructions

Makes 8 large, soft, cakey rolls for sweet toppings and cheese
First, dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk. Then, knead all of the ingredients thoroughly in a food processor or by hand until you have a smooth, supple dough. Add a little more flour or milk if needed. Cover the dough and keep it warm. Let it rise for about 1 hour, until it has increased in volume significantly. Knead the dough again vigorously and divide it into 8 to 10 equal-sized balls. Shape the dough into rounds and let it rise for another 30 minutes on the baking sheet. If you like, you can brush the rolls with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or similar. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Bake the rolls on the middle rack for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
