Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pack of cream cheese, approx. 150 g
  • 2 tbsp, heaped mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp, leveled pepper
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • ½ small onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp, heaped tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp, heaped mustard
  • 1 tbsp, heaped mustard, sweet (Bavarian mustard)
  • 60 g gherkins with honey
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp, heaped sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 10 minutes

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Refrigerate the sauce for at least 24 hours before serving to allow all the flavors and spices to develop. Notes: The amount of onion can be adjusted to your taste. Instead of salt, you can also use a vegetable seasoning mix, which tastes much better. These are available, for example, at Turkish grocery stores.
