Creamy broccoli with fine gnocchi

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g broccoli
  • 150 ml milk
  • chili flakes
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • some margarine for frying
  • 175 g gnocchi from the refrigerated section
  • 100 g processed cheese
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • nutmeg
  • optional spice(s) of your choice
  • possibly sauce thickener
  • possibly stock powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash and chop the broccoli. Combine the broccoli, milk, some chili flakes, and vegetable stock in a saucepan and mix well. Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, heat a little margarine in a pan and fry the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Add the cream cheese to the broccoli and stir well until melted. Season the sauce with salt, white pepper, nutmeg, and any other spices you like. If desired, you can thicken the broccoli sauce with a sauce thickener. Alternatively, you can use a mixture of flour, cornstarch, and water to thicken the sauce. Place the creamed broccoli on a plate with the fried gnocchi and serve.
