Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 20 g butter, soft
  • 125 g yogurt (natural)
  • 75 g water, lukewarm
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • ½ cube of yeast
  • Cheese, for the topping

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

(No steam) Mix the yogurt with the water and honey well. Crumble in the yeast and continue stirring until dissolved. Put the flour in a bowl, season with salt and mix into the yogurt mixture. Add the softened butter and knead well for about 5 minutes. This is best done with a food processor. Let the dough rise for about 45 minutes and then knead lightly with your hands again. Roll out into a circle, cut into 8 pieces and roll them up from the outside in. Now let rise again for about 15 minutes, brush or spray with a little water and sprinkle with grated cheese until the whole stick is covered. Then put it in the oven and bake on the middle rack at 200-220°C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
