Chicken and French Fries Casserole

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g French fries (oven fries)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
  • 1 chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 50 g dressing (American dressing)
  • 50 g bacon, sliced
  • 1 spring onion(s), cut into rings
  • 200 g mozzarella, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

With bacon and mozzarella

Season the fries with salt and pepper and cook according to the package instructions. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy, drain on kitchen paper, and then break into small pieces. Add the garlic and diced chicken to the pan with the bacon fat and cook, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Place the cooked fries in an ovenproof skillet or casserole dish. Spread half of the cheese on top. Add the chicken pieces on top and drizzle with the dressing. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese, bacon, and finely chopped spring onions. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 10 minutes. Serve warm.
