Chicken strips with broccoli and peas

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 400 g broccoli
  • 1 small jar of peas, frozen
  • 240 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 50 ml cream, for cooking, 15% fat
  • 100 ml milk, 1.5% fat
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

WW suitable

Peel and finely dice the onion, shred the chicken breast fillet. Cut the broccoli into small florets and sauté until al dente. Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken breast fillet. Add the onion and sauté. Add the peas and broccoli and mix everything together well. Now pour in the vegetable stock and cook everything for about 4-5 minutes. Dust with the curry powder. Then mix the flour, cooking cream and milk together and add to the pan. Gently bring everything to a boil and simmer a little longer until the desired consistency is reached. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more milk. Finally, season to taste with salt, pepper and curry powder if desired. With 150g of cooked rice according to the old WW program, the total is 7.5p.
