Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste, preferably sun-ripened (tube)
  • 1 tsp, leveled mustard, medium hot (or less)
  • 2 tbsp water or apple juice, boiling
  • ½ tsp, leveled vegetable broth, granulated
  • 1 pinch(s) pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • 1 pinch(s) curry powder
  • little salt
  • e.g. sweetener or honey
  • 1 tsp fruity jam (optional applesauce)
  • 5 drops of oil
  • 1 piece(s) apple, grated, if required

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

a ww – suitable and good low-calorie alternative to store-bought ketchup

Whisk all the ingredients together thoroughly with a fork or small whisk, and you have ketchup for your meal. A few drops of oil complete the dish. I always find this tastier than ketchup from a jar. Any leftovers will keep in the refrigerator for up to 8 days. Perfect as an instant serving for fries or other dishes.
