Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 480 g flour
  • 2 packets of dry yeast
  • 90 g sugar
  • 250 ml milk, low-fat, lukewarm
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 80 g butter, semi-skimmed, soft
  • 1 tbsp lemon peel, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

WW PP suitable

Mix the flour with the dry yeast. Mix in the sugar, knead in the butter, and add the salt and lemon zest. Gradually add the milk until you have a smooth yeast dough. If you prefer a lower-calorie version, you can use water instead of milk. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Then knead again, pour it into a small loaf pan, and let it rise, covered, for another 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (180°C with fan-assisted oven) for about 15 to 20 minutes. WW note: 1 piece has 4 PP if the bread is cut into 16 slices.
