Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 250 g flour (whole wheat flour)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey or molasses
- 150 g quark
- 1 egg(s)
- possibly milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Mix in honey or molasses, quark, and egg by hand until a smooth dough forms. Add a little milk, if desired. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. Form the rolls into oval shapes and place them on a greased baking sheet. Brush with lukewarm milk and bake at 200°C for about 20-25 minutes.
