Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g carrot(s), young
- 50 g butter
- ½ tsp sugar
- Salt
- 4 tbsp white wine, sweet
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Clean, wash, and peel the carrots, then slice them diagonally into thin slices. Heat the butter and sugar in a saucepan, add the carrots, and stir until lightly caramelized. Season with salt, drizzle with wine, and cover and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent the carrots from burning. Finally, swirl the pan until the carrots are completely coated with the syrupy liquid. Sprinkle with parsley.
