Eggs in ham and cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 bunch of chives, cut into rolls
  • 8 eggs, hard-boiled
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cut the ham into small strips and fry lightly in the butter, without browning. Sprinkle with flour and paprika and deglaze with the broth. Gradually stir in the cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and add the chives. Place the halved eggs on a plate and pour the hot sauce over them. Serve with mashed potatoes and salad.
