  • 20 g bacon, seasoned fat (salo), alternatively back bacon
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 eggs
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch of chives, cut into rolls

Cut the salo into approximately 4-5 mm thick slices. Place in the hot pan and fry until translucent on both sides. Add the sliced ​​onions, season with salt and pepper. Crack two eggs into the slices. Turn off the heat, cover the pan, and let stand on the hot plate for about 2 minutes. Sprinkle with chives and serve. Note: Salo is used in many different ways in Ukrainian cuisine—raw, salted, fried, or smoked. Salo is the most traditional, popular, and highly valued food in Ukraine and is simply a cult.
