Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small celery
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 3 apples
  • 2 bulb(s)
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 2 slices of toast (wholemeal toast)
  • 1 tsp clarified butter
  • Walnuts
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp oil (walnut oil)
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Finely grate the celery and mix with lemon juice. Dice 2 1/2 apples, pears, and the cheese, and mix everything together. For the marinade, mix the vinegar with oil and spices and grate in the remaining apple. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour. Dice the bread and fry in clarified butter. Sprinkle it over the salad with the nuts.
