Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • some salt (about 1/2 tsp)
  • 2 tbsp spice(s) of your choice
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 250 ml water, lukewarm

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

can be grilled

Mix all the dry ingredients. Add lukewarm water and stir with a dough hook until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let the dough rise for 60 minutes. Then form approximately 7-8 flatbreads and place them on the grill. Grill for about 5 minutes on each side. Be careful not to burn. If the grill is very hot, set them aside. Or turn them over more often. You can test by breaking open one flatbread to see if it’s done. Serve hot. It tastes good on its own, but it also tastes great with garlic butter. If you like, you can add a clove of crushed garlic to the dough. It’s also delicious with fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme.
