Spicy Crispy Rice Flatbread As Side Dish

The perfect spicy crispy rice flatbread as side dish recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Peeled rice cooked (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Wasabi powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground turmeric spice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt from the mill
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Condensed milk 10% fat
  • 150 g Panko flour
  1. Put the cooked (hot) rice in a high bowl and season with wasabi powder, salt and turmeric.
  2. Mix the eggs and condensed milk in a container. Add the panko flour to the rice and mix both with your hands.
  3. Wet a pan with a little sunflower oil and heat it up. Put the rice in here.
  4. Pour in the egg mixture and now press the rice really well. This is best done with a plate that is adapted to the pan size.
  5. Now fry the rice pancakes on each side for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Turning is also done with a plate that is placed on the flatbread – turn the pan over in one go and let the flatbread slide back into the pan.
  7. As a side dish to salad, poultry, meat or just like that with some freshly cut chives.
