Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 piece(s) feta cheese
  • 2 sheets of filo pastry
  • ⅛ bell pepper(s), color as desired
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • flat-leaf parsley
  • sesame
  • Honey, liquid
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Halve the cheese in half. Place the thinly sliced bell pepper between the two slices and wrap it in the filo pastry like a gift. It’s best to moisten your fingers so the dough sticks. Then chop the parsley and spring onion. Lightly toast the sesame seeds. Fry the wrapped feta parcels in oil for 1-2 minutes until crispy and golden on the outside. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C fan-assisted) for about 5-10 minutes to allow the cheese to warm and melt slightly on the inside. Drizzle the baked parcels with honey and sprinkle with spring onions, sesame seeds, and parsley.
