Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 red bell peppers
- 200 g cottage cheese
- 100 g sheep’s cheese, 9% fat
- 50 g ham, raw, lean
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- some parsley
- some salt
- some pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Wash the peppers, halve them lengthwise, and remove the seeds and membranes. Finely dice the feta cheese and ham, and mince the garlic. Now mix all ingredients, except the peppers, into a paste and season with salt and pepper. Spread the filling among the pepper halves and press down. Place the peppers on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for about 35 minutes. (Less or longer, depending on how firm you want them to be.) A green salad goes very well with this. I often use different spices for this recipe, such as oregano, rosemary, or thyme. I’ve also mixed corn or diced onion into the filling. This way, it always tastes a little different, but always very delicious. Great as a protein-rich evening meal for dieters.
