Lamb's lettuce with orange and bacon sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g bacon, streaky
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • ½ orange(s), juice
  • 100 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan
  • lamb’s lettuce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely dice the bacon and fry in a little oil in a pan. Once it has taken on some color, add the sliced spring onions and fry briefly. The bacon should be crispy but not burnt. Deglaze with the orange juice, press the garlic, and add it. Pour in the cream, bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the dressing over the lamb’s lettuce and finally sprinkle with a little Parmesan. I like to drizzle the dressing over the salad while it’s still warm, but you can also use it cold. Variation: Instead of Parmesan, sprinkle some crumbled goat’s cheese over the finished salad and dressing and drizzle with a little honey. Depending on your appetite and the side dishes, this will be enough for 1-2 people.
