Make your own McMuffin Bacon, Beef'n Egg

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g minced beef
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 toasties
  • 2 slices of Cheddar
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Season the mince with salt and pepper, knead, and form into 125g patties. Fry in a little oil until tender, then keep warm in the oven at around 80°C. Fry the bacon slices and place in the oven to keep warm. Place two dessert rings (9cm – or made from aluminum foil) in the same pan and crack two eggs into each one. Season with a little salt. In the meantime, cut open the toasties and toast them. Once the eggs are set, carefully turn them over using a spatula and oven gloves. Just before the end of the baking time, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each burger patty in the oven. Once everything is ready, it’s time to assemble the burgers. Place a burger patty upside down on the bottom half of the toastie, cheese facing down. Place the egg on top, then three slices of crispy bacon, and finally the second bun half. The McMuffin is ready, almost like at McDonald’s.
