Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g gyros meat, shredded and seasoned
- 250 g spaghetti
- 1 jar mushrooms, drained
- 1 can of pizza tomatoes
- 2 cups of cream
- 200 g processed cheese
- some salt and pepper
- oregano
- 2 handfuls of cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Brown the gyro in a pan. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, toss it with the gyro in the pan, then transfer everything to a baking dish. Layer the mushrooms first, then the pizza tomatoes. Heat the cream in a saucepan and melt the cheese. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and oregano and pour it evenly over the casserole. Sprinkle the casserole with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes.
