Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slice(s) of meat sausage, approx. 5 cm thick
  • 2 slices of bread (Siegerland potato bread “Riewekooche”)
  • some butter
  • 6 sprigs of parsley
  • some mustard, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Score the meat sausage slices eight times with a sharp knife. Important: Only score halfway through (this creates an 8-piece pattern). Place on a plate and microwave on high for about 90 seconds. The slices should now resemble a crown. Spread the bread slices with butter. Place each meat sausage on a slice of potato bread, garnish with parsley in the center, and add a small dollop of mustard to each corner of the bread. Serve with a glass of fresh pilsner.
