Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 5 pretzel sticks (frozen)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Salt
  • possibly poppy
  • possibly grains
  • possibly diced ham
  • possibly cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

for parties, picnics and on the go

Let the pretzel sticks thaw for about 20 minutes. Then cut each into 4-5 pieces. Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Whisk the egg yolk. Brush the pretzel pieces with the egg yolk and sprinkle with salt. Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C for about 12-15 minutes. Tip: Poppy seeds, various grains and seeds, diced ham, and cheese are also suitable for sprinkling. In this case, omit the salt.
