Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 500 g flour (type 405)
- 20 g yeast, fresh
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 60 g margarine, soft
- 300 ml water (approx.)

Combine all ingredients to form a smooth yeast dough, cover, and let rise (approx. 1 hour). Divide the risen dough into 8 equal portions, halve each portion, and shape each portion into an oblong shape. Twist two of the resulting strands around each other. Brush the formed strands with egg yolk and sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes.
