Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g onion(s), sliced
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 250 ml oil
  • 4 slice(s) toast bread (rye toast bread)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 50 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

In a bowl, mix the sliced ​​onions with the flour and paprika. Fry the onions in a pan with hot oil until light brown. Toast the bread, spread it with mayonnaise, and then add the onions. Sprinkle with Parmesan and Emmental cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) until golden brown.
