Grandma's milk semolina soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of sauce powder, vanilla
  • 25 g semolina
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1,000 ml milk, cold
  • some salt
  • 2 drops flavoring (lemon baking oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the sauce powder, semolina, and 25g of sugar with 6 tablespoons of the milk. Heat the remaining milk. Stir the mixed semolina into the boiling milk, which has been removed from the heat, and let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Season the soup with salt, the remaining sugar, and the cooking oil. Tip: Cook 1-2 tablespoons of washed raisins or currants with the soup.
