Grandma's oatmeal soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1,000 ml milk
  • 40 g oat flakes
  • some salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the milk. Once boiling, add the oats, stir, and simmer for 10 minutes until softened. Season the soup with salt and sugar, if desired, and stir in the butter.
