Kritharaki gyro salad

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 60 g Kritharaki (rice-shaped noodles)
  • 80 g gyros meat, already grilled
  • 50 g cucumber(s)
  • 50 g bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 egg(s), hard-boiled
  • 25 g sour cream
  • 10 g salad cream (Miracel Whip)
  • 5 g garlic sauce
  • 5 g ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs, frozen
  • 1 shot of milk
  • 1 tsp brandy, to taste
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Use leftovers for gyros or grilled meat

Cook kritharaki according to the package instructions, drain, rinse in cold water, and let cool slightly. Cut the meat, cucumber, bell pepper, and egg into small cubes. Mix the sour cream, Miracle Whip, garlic sauce, ketchup, herbs, and milk, adding brandy if desired (tasty without). Combine the kritharaki, meat, vegetables, egg, and sauce in a bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Only then, season with salt and pepper to taste. Depending on the flavor of the meat, add the kritharaki to taste.
