Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 small onions
  • 200 g Schupfnudeln, from the refrigerated section
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • some oil
  • 1 pack of bacon, diced
  • some salt
  • some pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Heat oil in a pan. Dice the onions and add them to the hot oil. Add the dumplings and bacon cubes. Fry the dumplings until golden brown, then add the cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste and bring to a boil briefly. Then transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle with cheese, and bake at approximately 200 degrees Celsius until the cheese is golden brown.
