Pork fillet strips with green beans "Asian style"

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g pork fillet(s)
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil or rapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp onion(s), finely diced
  • 250 g beans, green, frozen
  • 8 cl broth
  • 40 g honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, or more if desired
  • 15 g ginger
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Finely chop the garlic and ginger. Mix with the soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch. Cut the pork fillet into strips. Heat the oil in a pan, sear the pork fillet strips for 2 minutes, then remove. Finely dice the onion. Sauté the diced onion in the pan drippings, add the beans, and deglaze with the stock. Close the lid and cook for about 6-7 minutes. Stir in the fillet strips. Stir in the soy sauce and simmer for 1 minute. Serve on plates and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with basmati rice.
