Hot Dog Sandwiches

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast, large
  • 2 Vienna sausages
  • 2 small pickles
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tbsp, heaped fried onions
  • 2 slices of processed cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for the sandwich toaster

Spread two slices of toast with mustard and the other two with ketchup. Place a slice of cheese on the mustard side of each slice. Slice the Vienna sausages and distribute them evenly on the cheese. Finely chop the gherkins and arrange them on the sausage slices along with the fried onions. Fold one slice with ketchup and one with mustard together and toast in the sandwich toaster.
